Getting Started
How do I add Vengeance to my server?
Click the Invite Bot button at the top of the page and authorise Vengeance with the permissions it needs. Make sure Vengeance's role is above the roles it needs to manage in your server's role list.
What is the default prefix?
The default prefix is , — so commands look like ,help, ,ban @user, etc. You can change the prefix to anything you like from the dashboard.
How do I change the prefix?
Head to the dashboard, select your server, go to the General tab, and update the prefix field. Changes take effect within 60 seconds without a restart.
Does Vengeance support slash commands?
Vengeance currently uses prefix-based commands for maximum flexibility and speed. Slash command support may be added in a future update.
Anti-Nuke
How do I set up anti-nuke protection?
Enable the modules you want with ,an ban on, ,an kick on, ,an channel on, etc. Each module can be configured with its own threshold (number of actions before triggering) and punishment (ban, kick, or stripstaff).

Example: ,an ban on 3 ban — ban anyone who bans 3+ people within the detection window.
How do I whitelist a trusted admin from anti-nuke?
Use ,an whitelist @user to toggle a user on or off the whitelist. Whitelisted users are completely exempt from all anti-nuke checks. The server owner is always trusted and cannot be punished.
What's the difference between whitelist and admin?
Whitelist — exempt from anti-nuke detection. Their actions won't trigger any protection modules.
Admin (,an admin @user) — can run anti-nuke configuration commands. They're also exempt from detection by default.
Where do I see anti-nuke alerts?
Create a channel named #antinuke-log in your server and Vengeance will automatically post action alerts there. No additional setup needed.
Moderation
How do I set up mod logs?
Use ,modlogs #channel to set the channel where bans, kicks, warns, and other moderation actions are logged. Run ,modlogs without a channel to disable it.
How does the jail system work?
Run ,setup to automatically create a jail channel and jailed role. Then use ,jail @user [reason] to restrict a member to the jail channel. Use ,unjail @user to release them.
Who can use moderation commands?
Commands require the relevant Discord permission (e.g. Ban Members to use ,ban). You can also grant fake permissions via ,fp add @role ban_members — this lets roles use commands without real Discord permissions.
Automod
How do I enable automod?
Enable individual filters:
  • ,automod caps on — delete excessive caps
  • ,automod spam on — delete spam messages
  • ,automod links on — block unauthorised links
  • ,automod invites on — block Discord invite links
  • ,automod words on + ,automod badword add [word] — word filter
Each filter has its own punishment setting via ,automod action [filter] [warn|timeout|kick|ban].
How do I exempt a role from automod?
Use ,automod exempt @role to toggle a role's exemption. Members with the Manage Messages permission or Administrator are always exempt automatically.
Dashboard
Who can access the dashboard?
Only Discord users with the Administrator permission or the server owner can access the dashboard for a given server. You log in with your Discord account via OAuth2.
How long does it take for dashboard changes to take effect?
Dashboard changes sync to the bot within 60 seconds automatically. No restart is needed. Prefix changes take effect on the next message after sync.
I changed the prefix in the dashboard but the bot isn't responding.
Wait up to 60 seconds for the sync to complete, then try again. If it still doesn't work, check the status page to confirm the bot is online. You can always join our Discord server for live support.
